Longest journey I have ever had

Well, I had a super long journey yesterday flying all the way from Brisbane - Queensland (Australia) to very far Northern European country, Helsinki (Finland). Previously, I planned to transit at Bangkok and sleep there for two days to re-energize myself before another long trip. However, for the sake of time and comfort, I chose direct flight from Brisbane to Helsinki. The total amount for two options (either BKK or Singapore transit) is not much different. So, I spent a few hundred bucks. :(

(Before I departed at Brisbane airport)

The trip started at 2:30 pm (Brisbane time) and took almost 8 hours to arrive at Changi airport, Singapore. It was long and boring journey but I managed to watch one movie and listened to some musics to spend the time. The food served by SG airlines was quite good and I could choose Asian food (thai curry and fried rice). I also try to meditate about 20 mins on flight to forget my tiredness. It was my very first time meditating at the highest place. :)

It was about 8:45 pm when the flight landed Changi airport. Nothing was strange to me at Changi since I spent many years in Singapore. I had 3-hours time before boarding another flight to Helsinki. I have made an appointment with my friends to see at Terminal-3. In fact, the arrival place was Terminal-2. So I had a rush to T-3 through internal shuttle bus. When I passed the immigration, the officer suggested me not to go out bcos of very limited time. In fact, I had secure amount of time. However, I was a bit confused and panic because I was afraid of missing the boarding time. So I rushed to go and see my friends. I gave them the gifts from Australia and took the food for me to Finland. Well, I said bye to my friends at 10 pm and I went inside the departure lounge. It was 0.5 hours in advance before boarding time. All went well though I was a bit nervous.

It was the  most boring journey from Singapore to Copenhagen (Denmark) and took 12 hours. I was a bit tired and no mood to watch movie again nor listening to musics. I tried to sleep but I was half-awake sleeping time. After spending the longest time on flight, it was safely landed at Copenhagen airport at early in the morning about 6:20 am. Then, I waited for another flight which would board at 8:05 am. I managed to get access to wi-fi and had a facebook-talk with my friend.

After an hour long flight, I finally arrived at Helsinki airport. I rushed to exchange money and collected my luggage to take the bus to Turku where I would have to go. Turku is almost 3-hours drive from Helsinki. It was another boring bus ride though I could have access to wi-fi on the bus.

Finally (Thank God), I arrived at the Turku Bus Station at 1:30 pm. Then, I walked about 12 mins to the hotel in the city. Unfortunately, it was a bit chaotic that I could not enter the hotel because my door code would be activated at 4 pm. So I decided to go and spend my time at near-by coffee shop.

Surprisingly, the coffee shop named "Monarch) which is very English made me relaxed. The coffee and the snack were good. More importantly, the pianist at that shop was so great. She played my most favoruite pieces by Richard Clayderman and Yiruma. I immediately fell in love with this coffee shop and decided to visit here very often.

It was about 1.5 days for me to travel all the way from one side of the world to the other side. It was tiring and stressful but all in all, I had a nice experience.

Love,

from Tarragindi to Holland Park West (again)

I have lived in the house at Wellers Road, Tarragindi for past six months without realizing it would take that long. I have gone through many painful memories in this house. Now I moved to the place at Holland West Park where I used to live in my early Australia days. I do want to leave all my bad memories behind and I want to open my new chapter from now. Hopefully, everything gonna be alright. Here is the place at Holland Park. The following one is at Tarragindi.
